Here are highlights from our post wedding mini moon at the Ritz Carlton Bacara resort in Santa Barbara. So happy we chose to stay here because this would be an amazing place to come back and celebrate anniversaries. Always gotta think ahead. 😉
Touches like complimentary champagne at check-in and amazing sauna amenities for all guests make the stay extra luxurious.
The resort is dog-friendly and they offer Bacara dog beds and bowls. Oliver is a happy camper in front of the fireplace.
The grounds have plenty of grass and a hiking trail that goes along the beach, perfect for dog walks.
There are two restaurants on the property, Angel Oak for fine dining and The Bistro for casual. The Bistro serves a la carte breakfast until 10:30 AM, and breakfast buffet until 11 AM. We opted for the a la carte and I went with the Huevos Rancheros. It’s a beautiful plate that is as comforting as most Huevos Rancheros dishes are, but lighter which I appreciated. (I opted for the non-chorizo vegetarian version). The tortilla was crisp and light, not oily or soggy like many versions are.
The signature cocktail today was “Ticket to Paradise.” Gin, St. Germain and fresh cucumber juice.
